I have a brand new Acer One 10 - 2 GB Ram, 64GB eMMC, Intel Atom x5-Z8350 running at 1.92GHz. Windows 10 with latest updates installed. The BBC iPlayer Downloads app, downloads just fine, seems to install, but then the app window is just a white screen, with no content is visible when the app is launched. If I try to download a TV program (I use Windows edge with Adobe Flash enabled), it does seem to download, but I can't see the download on the screen. I can play any program from iPlayer just fine.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app numerous times; run compatibility checkers, troubleshooters and checked all help on the iPlayer web site all the web forums I can find, but no success. I've also tried disabling my anti virus software and Firewall (all Norton) and then downloading and launching, but this doesn't help. Any ideas please? Thank you in advance for your help.
